For weekend visitors, day-trippers, families, and arts enthusiasts who enjoy combining live theater with outdoor recreation, history, shopping and great dining, the place to be this fall is Nyack.

Nyack’s premiere Phoenix Festival: Live Arts in Nyack has it all! Hosted and produced by NYC's award winning Phoenix Theatre Ensemble, the Festival will take place over five weekends in and around Nyack from September 16 to October 16

The Phoenix Festival will present three professionally produced plays in an idyllic outdoor setting--The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar WildeSkin of Our Teeth by Thornton Wilder, and The Harmfulness of Tobacco by Anton Chekov; along with Digital Dreaming: AR Adventures, an immersive journey though downtown Nyack using your mobile phone; Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost performed by and for kids; film and live performance tributes to Nyack resident Helen Hayes; a song cycle premiere inspired by the paintings of local artist Edward Hopper; and more events in around Nyack. All of the performances are kid-friendly, so be sure to bring the whole family!
